I had an interesting story thought recently.
In a lot of mind control stories, women who are brainwashed into becoming highly sexualized often get boob jobs. My particular ne plus ultra is the Mind Control Comics story Bearing Gifts, in particular issue #14 (which is #9 in the Found Objects storyline), in which the protagonist actually magic-brainwashes an actual cosmetic surgeon so that he will have an "on staff" person to give his ever-growing harem all the boob jobs he wants. But it's also in their titles Audiophilia and others, although in Bearing Rubies it's nano-magic-technology rather than silicone.
I recognize that Mind Control Comics are paywalled, I have had a subscription there off and on over the years. Apologies for referencing them and not sharing.
Anyhow, we take the cosmetic surgeon protagonist - female, of course - but we put her in the vicinity of a Wicked Mind Controller and turn on a slow burn. Let's say she works in the Valley (the San Fernando valley, a part of Los Angeles known for being home to a large amount of pornography production companies and their staff) so she does boob jobs and butt implants and lip implants etc etc and has no qualms about doing them.
First she notices that the most recent Pretty Young Things who've come in to have work done have the same address - an apartment complex, say. And they seem a bit spacey and use the exact same phrases. Then things get a little weirder - maybe a reference to "Mistress" (or "Master" if you prefer, frankly if we keep the W.M.C. offscreen it doesn't really matter their gender so pick what pleases you) and perhaps they bring in the same "this is what I want done" photos and so on.
Of course, in a Tabico story, all of this is simultaneously making the protagonist nervous and extremely horny. Should she be worried? Why are these young sex-drones-in-the-making all coming to her? Will the W.M.C. ultimately come to brainwash her (and does she secretly want that?)
Soon enough the W.M.C. would engage in overt communication. "I appreciate your work", "Here's a nice bonus", "Such artistry", etc.
And then things could get more dubious - maybe one of the drones comes in and requests to have something implanted. Won't say what it is. Iris dying. Tattoos with special ink. (Kind of shading into my Joja story, here).
So that's the idea. I haven't really settled on a conclusion - what do you think? How would one satisfactorily wrap that up? Simply having the protagonist ultimately get collected would be appropriate and desirable but would totally lack punch. I think a second plotline is necessary, something to weave in that could rise up at the end for a good solid climax.
Oh, yes, I appear to be back. I won't make promises but hopefully this will be regular again. (There are many many blog pages boldly proclaiming "I am back!" which are the last update ever seen, so I shan't tempt fate). Lots of stuff has come out during the summer and I aim to point out a bunch of it. Also, Uzobono and I are almost finished with CORE #14, we should see a release before Halloween, God willing and the creek don't rise.
Suppose for conclusion the surgeon betrays somebody to the WMC? Family, friend, crush, etc?

ReplyDeleteMaybe as part of the conclusion, the surgeon could become a more integrated part of droning process. Opening up a (discreetly funded) state-of-the-art practice (perhaps once an aspirational dream). Where she can funnel a select few of the wider populations wealthy and beautiful towards her mistress.

ReplyDeleteI'm partial to the sleeper agent myself. What if a trusted ally, maybe not entirely on board with plastic surgery in the first place begins to change their tune or is the one who helps initiate the corruption in our heroine surgeon? What if something happens during each of these "routine" augmentations where the plastic surgeon is slowly influenced by her patients who are the pawns of the W.M.C. ?
I personally am partial to a receptionist sleeper agent. Unassuming, interacts with everyone and might be able to convince people to change their minds regarding a treatment, etc. "The gateway into slavery is checking in at the frontdesk."
Another idea for a second plotline could be an ongoing investigation of missing women that lead a detective to office. The surgeon is unaware of disappearances, the detective suspects her. You could always dovetail it with another story, personally I would RELISH another installment in the "Hot Oil" universe. On my shortlist of re-read material. Confusion about her oily hands (especially because she wears medical gloves) after recent procedures and gaps in her memory could work... Anyway, enough spitballing for today. The cosmetic surgeon is a natural beauty who does not herself believe in cosmetic surgery for aesthetic purposes. She primarily is concerned with using it for people with genuine medical need (e.g, burn victim, etc). Unfortunately people with genuine medical need are often people without genuine medical insurance. Therefore she has ended up doing cosmetic surgeries for the porn set (because, heh, she is helping these girls make money, etc, right? still not serving rich bitches and trophy wives, right?). Story then plays out as you outline, she realizes there is a Mistress (not her Mistress (not yet)) and she get's increasingly turned on. Mistress thinks she is such an artist, yet don't artists to self-portraits, shouldn't she experience some of her own art? She ends up directing the porn-drones in how to perform an operation on her, something minor, nip-and-tuck, it is ... terrifying erotic and addictive. So, she ends up giving herself piece by piece the works, fake tits, butt, lips, waist. Art is an end itself after all, the true artist does not limit herself. Her Mistress introduces her to her new clientele, rich bitches and trophy wives, and anybodyelse her Mistress wants to drone. She loves it.

What immediately jumped into my mind was that the surgeon has a significant other and the SO likes porn and gets a kick out of watching the starlets that the surgeon enhances. An early scene setup could be the surgeon coming home from the office and the SO is already warmed up watching their fave bump-n-grind streaming site in the bedroom. "Mmmm, she was hot before but you made her a Goddess!"
The SO becomes a sounding board for the surgeon's concerns as the story progresses. Perhaps the SO does some sleuthing to nail down certain details (like the shared address) that aren't sitting right with the surgeon? What if this progresses into some undercover type work where the SO interacts with some of these spacey starlets? How tempted is the SO by the chance to get their hands the surgeon's amazing work?
What if there's a B-plot idea that the SO has an on-again-off-again impulse to get enhanced themselves (I suppose that works better if the SO is a woman). The surgeon thinks they're perfect as is but the SO has mentioned getting work done more than once or twice over the years. What if the undercover interaction with the starlets pushes her over the edge? What if it's some more sinister influence?
What if she approaches the surgeon and says she wants to be enhanced? The way these recent spacey starlets have been? It might include some sketchy implant/ink/substance that you allude to. Might be a wonder drug to speed up the healing process so the enhancements are ready for enjoyment much sooner than normal... at least that's the cover story.
The surgeon isn't crazy about the idea but she'd rather do it herself than leave her SO in the hands of anyone else. Now, the surgeon has her own personal porn star at home. She's got reservations about the whole situation but the sex is AMAZING. "You're as hot as any woman on (adult streaming site), hotter even because the only thing bigger than your new breasts is your IQ. Why, yes I -am- ready to go again!"
One day, the surgeon comes home and the SO isn't there. She goes to the bedroom and finds the TV on. Her SO is one of the girls on the streaming site. The SO is with the space cadet Pretty Young Things the surgeon has worked on previously. The surgeon is terrified... she's also very turned on. Her SO is "in character" and acting just as blissfully blank/dumbed down/uninhibited as her co-stars.
Afterwards they talk, heavy conversation. SO might claim that it was all part of the undercover sleuthing. Which worked because the SO met someone that seemed to be in charge (W.M.C.) and they have a new lead. They go to a location to investigate something or other and get caught. The SO might already be enslaved and betrays the surgeon here. Or, could be that the W.M.C. tempts the SO to the dark side and she can't resist.
This sets up the surgeon for a really difficult choice (escape and leave behind the SO or stay and join her). Also, there's a chance to turn things on their head: the surgeon is the one who is tempted to stay and becomes enslaved while the SO escapes with her mind intact.
What happens then? Does the SO have to get on with her life? Does she still check in on the streaming site occasionally and get a rush when she sees a new starlet with the perfect body only her former lover can craft? Does she imagine the surgeon with steady hands and blank eyes carrying out her sole function for the W.M.C.? Does she think about it and touch herself? Caress the new body the surgeon gave her as she fantasizes about going back?
Those are my thoughts, for whatever they may be worth ;)

There are a number of directions that I can think of:
ReplyDelete1) Surgeon fantasizes that she wants to be MCed, dreaming up a fantasy within the story.
2) The WMC is purely interested in her as a resource, as their victims are women who are more easily disappeared than a presumably well known professional. A chance sighting of the unsavory WMC by the surgeon scares her, and sets off a suspenseful chase. And of course she gets captured and MCed.
3) The WMC remains faceless. The patients stop coming. Surgeon stops thinking about them. One day she finds herself on a cruise or resort or some other enclosed environment, and slowly realizes she is surrounded by the victims.

ReplyDeleteI suppose as a twist for your story idea, you could have the cosmetic surgeon figure out how to release one of the slaves and accidentally make her a part of her own harem.
Then there could be an arms race where she struggles to figure out how to counter the mind controller before she gets taken herself. The climax could either be her downfall, or her cracking the code and enslaving the villain (though who really becomes the villain in this kind of story?)
She could have hidden talents as a mind controller that she's been hiding all along, and the evil mind controller didn't know it? (A reluctant controller, only revealed to the reader at the end) "I don't really enjoy using my powers, but you've left me no choice!"
The B plot line could be something around her personal slave trying to turn her into another mind control mistress, convincing her to set her morals aside. That would be rather interesting. *Shrug*
Apropos of nothing, I've just recently finished (as of today) publishing my 'Robotic Restitution' trilogy on Amazon and Smashwords (Drone Envy/Drone Shuffle/Drone Circus). *Plug plug plug*
I think I've managed to pull off a proper Hive story/lesbian romance in three novels, but I'll let others be the judge of that.

First off, glad to see you're still kicking, Tabico. Second, I'd like to see some conflict within the protagonist surgeon, more than the usual scenario of discovering she's had a secret fetish. If she had evidence that could get the controller caught but was somehow not an easy target herself, she might have to work out a deal with the controller and end up learning exactly what was being done to the victims. Maybe she's torn between a desire to submit and a desire to control others, forcing her to confront her own fetishes, morals, and fears as she tries to keep from simply becoming another target herself?

ReplyDeleteI'm drawing inspiration from William Lee's story, Heavy Flesh (part II and III) and your story from Sub Routine. I will warn you now, pun ahoy.
Setup:
Protagonist (cosmetic surgeon) notices an uptick of surgically enhanced bimbos passing out flyers advertising the business/work of a rival surgeon. This ticks Protagonist off because all of these advertisers are well, bimbos. It reflects poorly on the cosmetic surgery practice. The flyers refer back to a website where video testimonials are posted of the before and after effect of the cosmetic surgery. The website is called, Boob Tube.
Protagonist is irritated and with her receptionist in tow, they watch a few videos together on her office computer.
[Major Plot Element: buried deep in the videos is MC tech designed to erode willpower, roll a dice to pass or fail the willpower save. There will be multiple follow up rolls if the viewer fails the first save.
First roll: willpower save - if pass, the video has no further effect and no further rolls take place; if fail, the video erodes the willpower of the view, leaving them more open to suggestion and leads to a second roll;
Second roll: bimbo save - if pass, the viewer's intelligence does not diminish; if fail, the viewer's intelligence temporarily drops a few points; regardless of the outcome, there is a third roll and final roll;
Third roll: dominant/submission; if pass, the viewer's personality does not change, if fail, the viewer can become more dominant or submissive, depending on the video's setting]
Boob Tube is a malicious website and it will work to sync into the social media advertising settings of anyone who's using it. Web advertising for cosmetic surgery will subtly or not so subtly appear in the news feed, advertisements, etc. of the infected computer and mobile device.]
Protagonist meets her rival and senses something, off about him. He appears to project confidence, but she detects there's something strange about them. She continues to devour more Boob Tube testimonials during work and private hours. She infiltrates the medical office of her rival and winds up being captured by Barbara (head of the office) and lead bimbo for the rival.
Part II:
ReplyDeleteBarbara spills the beans to the Protagonist. Her boss (the rival) had a brilliant idea to make a bimbo harem for himself and for others, starting with Barbara. He created Boob Tube, researched the MC tech, and set up a processing factory at the medical office.
He created Barbara first as the prototype and original model. Unfortunately, he was sloppy in his testing methods and exposed himself to Boob Tube videos that eroded his willpower, rendering him a total submissive. Barbara winds up in charge of the rival. Her first instructions are, make her friends because she's lonely. Things were okay, initially. Barbara is a bimbo, but she has a basic understanding of how the world functions. The bimbos spend the money and the doctor makes the money back, simple. Well, the doctor as a submissive, will not initiate things on his own, so she has to boss him around. Barbara is aware of her intelligence limitations. She knows that the current situation is not sustainable and the medical practice is hemorrhaging money; too many bimbos and not enough work being done by the doctor.
Barbara’s not capable of articulating what happened to the rival very well.
Sample:
Barbara: "Like after he watched the video, he wasn't the same guy.
Protagonist: "You mean he was lethargic?"
Barbara; "That's a really big word and I don't know what that means. He was like, lazy."
Barbara is a bimbo, but she has plan. She needs to find or make a Queen Bee. A Queen Bee that will be in charge and be smart enough to take charge of the harem. That’s the protagonist. She was fishing for to take the bait and fall into her trap.
Barbara is guessing that the doctor pressed the down button on the video that made him submissive. She’s stretching her intelligence limits by guessing, that if she presses the opposite button (the up button) it will make the recipient viewer, “bossy pants”. Barbara’s really weary of giving orders and being in charge. It’s very mentally taxing for her, so, she’s motivated to find a Queen Bee, a “bossy pants” to take charge and replace her at the top of the chain.
Tied down, eyes forced open, and forced to watch video after video, Protagonist transitions into a Queen Bee, bossy pants.
Outcome:
1. Protagonist consolidates her practice with the rival.
2. She keeps the rival as an additional helper for the medical practice. He’s still capable of doing cosmetic surgery; he just needs someone to boss him around.
3. With a warped sense of humor/justice, she lets Barbara marry the rival. Since he’s a total submissive, she lets Barbara cuckold the rival. Barbara screws the Protagonist while the rival watches; and he actually enjoys it.
4. Protagonist twists her receptionist into becoming a mini-domme like her. She’s still in charge, but she needs a loyal and dedicated lackey to keep the bimbos in line.
I'm thinking of the fate of Kirstie Allen's character in John Carpenter's remake of 'Village of the Dammed'. Our protagonist/surgeon, after being conditioned, is made to perform the procedure, with the help of a few well-placed mirrors, on herself.
