Tabenings - Spin Edition

Hello again! I did mention that Wednesday was the new Tuesday, right?

Not much to report. I apparently really hosed Uzobono with the climactic scene of CORE #12, there are an Imperial shitload of props in the scene and they make the computer crash rather than render. I really should know better at this point, but having found myself hopeless in the face of Poser I don't really grok the issues, and therefore don't anticipate the problems I am creating when I write the script. Multi-hour render times only to bluescreen the computer.

I am assured that this will be worked through, but you all need to appreciate the problems I put Uzo through on your behalf. (And mine, obviously.) So get to appreciating.

It's holiday vacation season around here, and I'm going to be traveling until the New Year. This will quite possibly affect my posting - you recall the problems that Blogger gave me last year. I'm not sending Google my fucking cell phone number just to post on my blog when I have the fucking password. Gr!

So we'll see. I'll have my laptop and I'll have the Internet, so I'm hoping this isn't the last you'll hear from me in 2017, but if I go dark it's not because I don't love you.

  2. That's a huge bummer! I hate it when you start stretching the boundaries of what the software is capable of!

And you don't always know whether it's a software or a hardware limitation. Could be a memory issue that you can't solve from your end, or some random error from a 3rd party library? (those are always fun)

I'm looking forward to seeing the result!

On my end, work has been rather cruel, forcing me to spend more time on public transit. While bad news for me, it's good news for the story, which now has 8 chapters. This latest chapter is about to blow past 13,000 words, so it probably needs to be split soon once I find a stopping point.

I'm finally in the end game! Gotta start inflicting final fates on my characters soon. *Evil Laugh* :D

I'm honestly more worried about the editing side of things at this point, this effort is almost certainly going to top 100,000 words. Good thing I'm not trying to get it traditionally published!

I suspect I may be very close to being able to release something in mid-January at the current rate of progress, but don't hold me to it!

  3. Disappointing, but you know that your fans are extremely appreciative of your work. Waiting a few more weeks for the best mind control fiction on the internet won't hurt anyone's sensibilities.

Enjoy the holiday and have a Happy New Year!

  4. Greetings and Happy Holidays to everyone. I’m looking forward to both the projects that Tabico’s working on as well as the awesome sounding story that Half Shim keeps hyping up. I can barely wait for what the new year promises to bring.
