So I had intended my previous post to be the last post of 2018, and what with the whole "not updating for months" thing that seemed like a pretty good bet.

Buu-ut, as is frequently the case when I'm away from home and therefore wind up in an extended "no-schlick" period, I've been having some pretty kinky dreams, one of which was so tasty I wanted to capture some of the imagery and I figured I would capture it here and thereby share it with y'all.

I'm sure you've probably forgotten my little outline for a story based on the game Stardew Valley. I posted it back in 2016 and it hasn't yet turned into a story. I, however, have not forgotten it, as I still think it's a smoking hot idea and also still occasionally use it for the aforementioned schlick sessions. Come on, a hot nubile gradually converted into a sex robot, and dressed in blue latex? Rawr.

Tying into this is a recent enjoyment of women who have some of their hair shaved. I think Natalie Dormer did it - ah yes, here she is with that hairstyle - and I saw some tasty nekkid photos of a Suicide Girl who also had shaved the side. Let's see, this was after tumblr bowdlerized itself so she must be.... here.

Now, with that in mind, we return to the brain implants from my story outline above. As so often happens I pull from trilby's work, in this case the incredibly powerful 'Hive' (Tabico pours out a small vial of Chris Chris' honey fluid in memory of her absent comrade). So the brain implants are, in my vision, plastic orbs the size of a half-egg. I'm thinking opaque plastic with maybe some points of light that turn on and off inside them.

Our heroine has returned from the Joja facility with her first brain implant, the irrevocable primary step on her way to becoming a plastic pleasure appliance. It's located on the side of her head, on that shaven patch, a glossy plastic bump whose dimly seen lights shift and pulse in time with the activity being monitored and controlled inside of Abigail's head.

But, and here's the new part, one implant is not the end state. No, now Abigail is only transitioning to a plastic appliance. Over the next two months, she returns to the Joja conversion facility for additional implants. The second is on the back of her head; the third on the right side. When she returns from the third implant her beautiful blue hair is tied up in a tight knot atop her head, revealing the shaven rear and sides and the three plastic half-orbs that pulse softly all around her circuitry-riddled brain.

And then, one month later, our farm-owning protagonist (who, by the way, in my fantasies is a muscular female, and even as Abigail is undergoing her transformation into a Joja plastic appliance, is undergoing her own transformation from Joja-hating independent farmer into a Joja farming asset, dedicated to providing her new corporate masters with all the produce they tell her to grow. Abigail is, of course, totally dedicated to abetting this transformation) returns home to discover the former Abigail standing nude and mindless in the center of the room.

Her beautiful blue hair is piled in a complicated knot atop her head, showing the three brain implants encircling her head. And in the center of her forehead, in perfect counterpoise to the implants, above and between her utterly blank eyes, is a smooth, half-egg sized divot, indicative of the Joja corporation's total removal of the plastic applicance's free will.

At the rear of the smooth cavity is a silver-edged socket. A plastic egg with a small plug clicks easily and firmly into the docking port, and now the plastic appliance that once was Abigail has four brain implants, encircling her head.

The front implant contains a personality chip. The plastic appliance standing in the farming asset's living room has arrived with several of them: maid, dominatrix, adoring bimbo. One of these orbs, a stunning royal blue color, will even equip the plastic appliance with the external traits and mannerisms of a young woman once named 'Abigail'.

So! Thought I'd share that. I really ought to turn that fantasy into a full-fledged story. Even if we all know the ending.

Tabenings - End of Year Edition

Well! I didn't want the year to end without a final 2018 blog post, so here it is!

Let's see... it's been a while and a bunch of stuff has happened. Not least of which, Uzobono and I released CORE #13: Outreach. If you somehow were unaware of that, go get it!

I am of course a delicate snowflake, so as you have witnessed I slunk right back into my shell after producing it. Reaction was largely positive but not 100% carrying me through the streets on the fans' shoulders, so as is my wont I threw down my quill and stormed off. Okay, not really. Anyhow, if you are here reading this you will probably like it so have at.

In much more recent news, tumblr rid itself of all porn. This is a severe blow to me because Tumblr was one of the half-dozen pillars of my porn consuming habits, and I have yet to figure out how to once again find the naughty artists on my regular update-check circuit. Many of them have migrated to Twitter, so I have gone over there, but the interface is more awkward and it will take some time to get used to.

Hmm, gosh, what else. I purchased and played through Thronebreaker, a card-based video game set in the Witcher universe. I enjoyed it, but not enough for a second playthrough. Other than that it has been mostly World of Warcraft, although for the upcoming holidays I purchased Factorio on a friend's recommendation so we'll see how that suits me.

Back to smut. Other than the tumblr-pocalypse I'm not recalling any big events or releases, at least in my subgenres. Of course, it's been... yikes, two months, so there's probably stuff I am forgetting. Lemme see what's in my collection from that period...

• GreenT posted an absolutely magnificent animation of a buxom terminatrix in a clear plastic uniform over on his DeviantArt page. 
• I know nothing, absolutely nothing, about HomeStuck. I tried, once, but it was just baffling and the characters and stories seemed totally unrelated to each other so I gave up. However, I really love the areolae on the renders that BreedingDuties produces. He had a tumblr up until this week, but now can be found at Newgrounds and Pixiv.

• Speaking of Pixiv, I was over there nosing around and whilst searching using the 'goblin' tag, I found some really excellent goblin - heroine mind control. The artist is Iryda, you will want to check out the combat set first, and the naughty mind control set second.

 But gosh, a lot of what I snaffled the last two months was from tumbr. Le sigh.

Tabenings - Bowsette Edition

Hey, it's Tuesday!

What?

Well, fuck September anyway. That was not a great September and, frankly, October is turning out to be mostly about recovering from September so it's pretty crappy so far as well.

However, I do have good news! I am even now (well, I was a moment ago until I stopped to write this blog post) editing the final script of CORE #13. And, in parallel, Uzobono is rendering the very last scene! So it's just lacking the necessary postwork - i.e. putting the images together as pages, adding some special effects, and doing the word balloons - and CORE #13 will be in your sweaty digital hands! Yay!

So in other news a fair amount of fun fetishy stuff has happened. I am totally going to miss a bunch of things, but here are some of them:

1. Dollmistress came out with a bunch more images; a set called 'Last to Awaken' and now one called 'The Thirteen Stages of Processing'.

2. Callidus released a spiffy new animation called 'Fun Room'.

3. Anaximanes had a few releases; 'Factions' was made available to his Patreons but more importantly for us non-renumerative sorts Cereborg chapter three was made available.

4. Dreampaintloon began releasing a bunch of spiffy fetishy drawings for October.

And a bunch more! But you know what, I'll save that for next week. May help with this whole 'resuming blogging' thing.

Another thing that happened was that a sexy new meme was born and exploded - EXPLODED - all over the Internet. I am referring to, of course, Bowsette. (Note: Link goes to Wikipedia page.

So here's the story behind this cutie. A fellow with the handle of Ayyk92, artistically talented but not of any particular fame, posted the following cartoon on Wednesday, September 19th:

Now, if you are as old as I am, you might not know what's going on there. Basically, in the Super Mario series of games, the big turtle fellow is Bowser - he's Mario's antagonist - and he repeatedly kidnaps Princess Peach (in white in the first panel) forcing Mario to trek through hazardous video game level after video game level to rescue her.

Earlier in the month, Nintendo had revealed that for the 'Deluxe' re-release of 'New Super Mario Bros. U' one of the other characters, Toad, had a version called Toadette who got a special power-up, in the form of the pink crown there in panel 3. The power-up would turn Toadette into Peachette, basically a character that looks like Princess Peach but with some of Toad's features.

So you can see what's happening in the cartoon. Peach spurns both Mario and Bowser, Bowser dons the pink crown and turns into Bowsette, and everyone goes on happy dates.

Well, this struck the Internet with the force of a hot, gothy, spiked-collar-wearing atom bomb. Before the weekend was over I personally had collected over forty Bowsette images from really good artists, quite a lot of them deliciously pornographic. Amateur and professional artists jumped in, many of them Japanese, many of them of actual published manga both smutty and non.

Right now, less than a month later, a search on 'Bowsette' on the Rule34 website (because we're all here for the porn, let's face it. You can also search for 'Bowsette' on google and get a shitload of hits if you are somewhere where nipples are frowned upon.) brings up more than 750 images. Less than a month later. And that's just some of the porn.

Also, you'll be interested to know that Bowsette appears in two common models - the blonde, Princess Peach like model as seen above, and a dark-skinned, red-headed model (otherwise the same) for those who think it makes more sense (and/or is hotter) to use Bowser's original coloration. And/or they just like redheads. Which is the camp I fall into.

Welp, it's Tuesday, and I'm here postin', but I got nothin'. Been a quiet week, smut-wise at least.

In mass media I tried a couple of new shows ('Lodge 49' and 'Disenchantment') and wasn't much impressed by either of them, to the point where I just gave up on them partway into an episode. I have been enjoying the Warcraft expansion, but it seems like every level increase has actually decreased my relative power to the point where even simple mobs now require pulling out all the stops, which is pretty discouraging to be honest.

But we soldier on! Report in if you've seen anything tasty and/or good recently.

Aigh! Tuesday again, and here I am posting INSTEAD OF PLAYING WARCRAFT like I want to be. The expansion came out YESTERDAY and of course servers were up and down last night and then I had to work today, because I'm a regular grown-up adult and need to earn money to pay the mortgage, and then this afternoon I had to go grocery shopping and fetch my spawn from her spawn-camp and after this I have to cook dinner and then there's the homeowner's association meeting - when do I get to PLAY WARCRAFT?!

Argh!

Kvetching aside, though, I did get about an hour in last night between server crashes and so far the expansion is quite good. Although Kul Tiras does feel a bit like Gilneas redux, what with the Dickensian accents and gothic horror and all.

Tabenings - Unveiling the FACs

Ha! It's Tuesday! Guess I won't be failing this week!

So, a discerning reader sent me a nice email asking "where the fuck are those FACs you talked about, like, years ago?"

No, I kid. It was a very nice letter. And effective! I mean it's been what, more than two years since I unveiled "The Secret Files", and right off the bat I revealed that there were these extra story chapters called Fanmail Appreciation Chapters for some of my stories - and then I never produced them! What a tease!

But as I say someone wrote a nice letter asking about the FAC for 'Rouge', so in response here are not one but three additional Secret Files, the FACs for 'Rouge', 'Allegiance', and 'Winter Flesh'. Enjoy!

Or don't - I'm still traumatized by a certain highly esteemed co-fetishist's disappointment. So if you think that reading one extra bit of any of those stories might in any way lessen your enjoyment of the way the are, canonically, on the EMCSA, then just pretend you don't even see the links over on the right there.

Oh, and for Boris, I have also put up the first couple chapters of 'Fake Ones', which was fun to write and I'm not really sure why I didn't continue it. The idea of using the same silicone-based goop to enlarge womens' breasts *and* to coat their brains (making them docile) is still super hot. Or maybe I'm just turned on by efficiency.

Which leaves 'Luthrina', which I have yet to broadly share. I have to say, it is one of my very favorite of my own stories. Both the hoarding and the favoritism are, I think, because it's played for comedy rather than eros. I've sent it to a few people over the years, although I dunno if they liked it. I think it's fucking hilarious.

In other news, CORE #13 is written through scene 11 (of 19), and illustrated through scene 9. I'm realizing that there's a lot of talking in this one, but sometimes that's how the rolling stone crumbles. You can't make a silk purse out of a pig in a poke!

Tabenings - Missed Month Edition

Aigh! I missed all of July!

Shameful, that's what it is. Shameful. Right, I don't generally like to commit to stuff but I shall focus like a laser (a green laser) and have a Tabenings every Tuesday for the rest of August. That's the goal. So let it be written, so let it be done!

So I haven't been utterly idle on a Tabico front - CORE #13 is moving forward, I'm basically 50% done with the writing (working on scene 10 of 19) and Uzobono has been snapping at my heels with the renders. I think seeing it in August is optimistic, but September is well within the bounds of reason.

In other smut news... hrm. Mostly I've been trolling the usual places for naughty pictures. I'm sure there's some that stood out but they're not springing to mind. Kivik updated 'Due Process' which is quite a nice mind control game. Although I have to say, I am deeply, deeply disappointed that they chose not to pursue the 'player character is a slave' route, since I find that by far the hottest. Instead if you are enslaved you get relegated to just another bad end, rather then embarking on your new career as slave-maker on your owner's behalf. Only by becoming the Mistress can one proceed.

I really need to just start making my own games if I am to be completely, utterly catered to even a little bit at all.

There's a rotation of various smut artists whose tumblrs I drop in upon on a regular, not to say nightly basis. One I don't think I have yet mentioned is idelacio, who has a very particular visual style which I quite enjoy, and applies it to various naughtiness involving a stable of copyrighted characters, e.g. Teen Titans, Mowgli, Supergirl, Ben 10, Penny from Inspector Gadget, etc etc. Rather a lot of it does involve femboys, which I am disinterested in, but there's also a bunch of naughty girls. In the last few days he posted a naughty Hermoine character whom I find RRRRrrrrr. A deatheater tattoo on her mons? Sign me up!

In non-smut news I had a very nice vacation with my spawn, and am now making myself ready for Battle for Azeroth, the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion by figuring out how all the controls work again. Which cooldown is that on? What spells do I have now?

I took my spawn to see 'The Incredibles 2' and I have to say, Holy Mind Control, Batman! Wowzers! Of course, none of the mind control was played for sexiness but on the other hand, Mrs. Incredible herself provided a whooole bunch of that. Mmm-mmm.

Tabenings - Joon Edition

May! I haven't posted since May!

Well, I'm not dead. On the contrary! I have started CORE #13 with Uzobono - the first scene is written and it's being rendered and I need to get the next scenes out post-haste. The overall plot is also done, that's the first thing that we do. If you've enjoyed the sub-plots about Erin and Yuen and Karo City University, then this issue should be up your alley! Not so much parasites this time - or any, really - but plenty of mind control.

I'm also back to working on 'Modding'; it's such a great concept and I shouldn't let the "what come next at this exact point" issue I'd gotten hung up on stop me - so I haven't. Progress is being made! Not nearly as fast as I'd like, but then I have a life and that life makes demands.

As far as other relevant content goes, if you haven't been paying attention to Dollmistress' DeviantArt page, you should be, as she's spinning quite a wild tale over there.

In other media I'm watching the latest season of Archer, which is good but thus far not superlative. My favorite bit was the line  - and for this to work you have to know that this season is set in 1938 - where Pam says "Yeah, it's a real Catch-22," to which Archer replies "...I don't think that's a thing yet." Ah, the fun we have with the 4th wall!

Thaaaaat close to giving up blogging - but not today!

So! Writing productivity is not nearly what it should be, but you might be glad to know that I've fleshed out the plot of CORE #13 (lucky #13) and should be getting the first scenes written shortly. Also turned my attention back to 'Modding' and made some progress there.

Let's see, what else. Callidus has put out some fun new episodes of 'The Black Room'. Just this week Dollmistress has embarked on a new comic release, apparently inspired by Infinity War, with the usual bubbling mixture of fetish and humor. 'Humour' I should probably say.

I know I'm missing some things. In mainstream media I greatly enjoyed Deadpool 2. Their interpretation of Domino really tickled my fancy, and I think Zazie Beetz hit the character just right. Also, I figured 'Zazie Beetz' was totally a made-up stage name until I looked her up and discovered that her father is German, so 'Beetz' is her completely legit last name.

Since then I've been binging on German-language interviews with her on YouTube. I may have a bit of a crush.

Not doing much vidya at the moment; dabbling in some World of Warcraft, mostly, which you can rightly curse for some of my lack of smut productivity. I keep meaning to try out Far Cry 5 but haven't gotten around to it.

Tabenings - Painted Eggs

Herro! And happy spring break to those of you what has it!

I swear to God I keep meaning to get back to Tuesday, really I do, but then stuff happens and it's late and...

Anyhow, good news!(tm) Remember 'Mind Worms'? Gosh I was young. That was back in grad school, I think. Sweet fancy Moses.

That said, please don't pick up one of my stories and continue it, or write another story with the same characters - that would be going over my personal line. But writing in the same universe, or making reference to the characters, or adapting the actual work (as seen above), that's all fine. Ask and ye shall receive (permission).

A Thursday update again! I swear I'm not trying to horn in Madam Kistulot's update day, it's just life gets busy, you know?

Although R/L is a whirlwind, I ain't got much going on in terms of Internet and/or smut. I played the Coceter Chronicles (porn game) for the first time and rather enjoyed it, although I think a bunch of the naughty content was recently stripped out? Because Patreon has decided to crack down on the non-societally approved fetishes (incest, bestiality, and of course mind control because it's rape) so in order to maintain an income stream the developer yanked that stuff. A shame. I enjoyed the game anyway.

And although I think the joke is that the game is pronounced "Cock Eater" Chronicles, I cannot help but pronounce it "Cosseter" Chronicles. Which I prefer, anyway. I dunno, how would you pronounce "Coceter"?

Speaking of video games, I finally burned out on Skyrim again after playing through a bunch of various mods and the Dragonborn expansion over again. Luckily Far Cry 5 is coming out in the next couple of days. Running around shooting people sounds like a nice change of pace. Hopefully my graphics card can handle it.

My spawn is off to a science camp for most of next week, so my evenings should be relatively free for a bit (although there are some girls I know what want to do girls' night stuff, which sounds fun) - hopefully I can leverage some of that into smut time. Depends on how much fun shooting people in the face turns out to be, really.

I enjoy the song, but really it's the acting that raises this from 'like' to 'love'. Those guys are fantastic.

Only encountered Run the Jewels recently; they have the main song on the Black Panther soundtrack ('Legend Has It'), which is also excellent. Was investigating their catalog when I bumped into 'Nobody Speak'.

And speaking of foul language, I also recently finished reading 'The Barrow' by Mark Smylie. I've been a fan of Smylie for a long time, due to his comic book 'Artesia'; the book is stand-alone but set in the same fantastically detailed universe. From the theology to the history to the criminal underworld, it's a thousand-faceted jewel. Also holy shit is it pornographic. If you don't object to more dick sucking than a Castro whorehouse on free MDMA night, you should definitely check it out.

Good news, everyone!

Let's see. If you hadn't noticed, Callidus recently posted a new episode of the Black Room podcast for you to check out. Which you should do.

Also, as brought to my attention by an attentive commentarioir on this very blog - and thank you for that - thrall appears to be back! Yowza!

Additionally, Anaximanes just recently updated the free version of his most recent game, Cult of Corruption, with a Patreon version update apparently in the very near future.

'Modding' is up to 24,337 words, so slow progress but not zero. I just need a couple days off where I am not fixing the plumbing or taking the kid to a wildlife refuge or shopping or... or anything, really. I cling to hope.

Also I recently saw a hot parasite/egg-laying manga, "Alien vs. College girl - what's born from one's anus". Now, I'm not particularly into butt stuff, but I am into alien eggs, so pretty hot IMO. And the artist Ishimiso has done some other parasite (and butt) related stuff which is also in an art style I quite like and features parasitic aliens.

Tabenings - Trimm Edition

Tuesday again, and I am taking time out of my busy schedule of rebuilding after the downfall of the Incubus King to fulfill my blogging duties! That's right, I'm playing The Last Sovereign again. My previous foray was back in July or so, so there's a bunch more content and my old save worked just fine.

I confess, I'm a bit of a min-maxer and since I hadn't really optimized from the very, very start, and TLS is a game where prior actions have huge and often unanticipated impact on later developments. For instance, TLS is an RPG Maker game where the enemies don't respawn, and therefore it's actually important to fight all the trash patrols to maximize your experience. Didn't know that for a while. So although I am doing very, very well in terms of positive outcomes, I'm not doing optimally, and that does bug me a bit.

Nonetheless, extremely fun game even with my anal retentive playstyle. Kudos to Sierra Lee for her writing!

Other than that the writing has been slow going, my lifestyle still lacks the open and unmonitored time periods I need for good smut writing. There are lots of upsides to being a parent but time for adult activities is not one of them.

But I did have a fun thought whilst on my way home today, which was instigated by hearing the classic L'Trimm song 'Cars that go Boom' on the radio. And let me just say: if you don't enjoy 'Cars that go Boom', well, I'm afraid I have no use for you. Because boom.

Like most people, I suspect, when I hear someone mention "L'Trimm", other than window-cracking bass I immediately think of slang terms for vagina. "Trim", right? Surely I'm not the only one who knows that usage. "That is a classy piece of trim?" No?

Anyway, in addition to turning up the speakers I got to thinking about my own usage of crotch-descriptive terms and figured I could make a blog post out of 'em. So here goes.


I will observe that this is all my own opinion, of course. This is very gut-level emotional-resonance stuff, and there are a number of other people's stories who make perfectly hot usage of terms which I may seem lightly disparaging of.

Pussy. This is the classic. I mean, it's pretty much my go-to descriptor. The baseline. The default. Which is interesting since it was originally clearly a cute-ish nickname, but I think long usage has turned it into the normatived noun.

Vagina, on the other hand, sounds... clinical. Well, not quite clinical, just... abstract. Intellectual. Removed from experience. "I want it in my vagina" is precisely the sort of thing that the over-educated stiff who winds up not reproducing at the start of Idiocracy would say. So in my smut it's pretty much 'pussy' except for the bits that are intended to be analytical.

Quim. That's a funny one. In my mind it's always written in a curly pink font with lots of swirls and hearts. A bit too "tee-hee" to be something I would use in my authorial voice, although there's certainly a place for it in the toolbox.

Bunny. Something that a bimbo would say, and in particular a bimbo from the 1970s. Not sure why one fuzzy animal term caught on and another remained a bit off-beat, but there it is. No one in my stories would ever say "Look how wet my bunny is" without a pout from bubble-gum pink lips and a t-shirt that was waaaay too tight over artificially round boobs.

Twat. Not a huge van of twat, although it has some uses. As a word it just has weird mouthfeel. It seems wetter, larger, fatter. The sound a frog makes when it lands. Nothing wrong with it, and I use it from time to time when the scene seems to fit, but... not my favorite.

Cunt. Ah, the hard stuff. Currently one of the heavier insults, which I think has bled over into the usage, making it harder, dirtier, more serious. Very useful for precisely that reason, although not a good place to start from. You have to work your way up to cunt. Also, there was a Poser-illustrated comic book by Briareos some years ago which had a sex-zombified woman hunting down another woman, who was hiding, and the sex-zombie was snarling "I can smell your cunt" and for some reason that's always stuck with me.

Trim. I have got to use trim more often. Although, to be honest, it is terribly out of usage and would require a setting I'm unlikely to actually use in my stories, such as a 1980s cocaine party. I really like trim, though, and I'll tell you why - it's actually my favorite style of pubic hair. I am super partial to that quarter of an inch electric razor cut. I like totally shaved, don't get me wrong. I like it a lot. And good pussy is good pussy. Not a huge fan of ungroomed but I don't roll it out of bed. But that short stuff which you can just rub your nose across, that short-skirt long-jacket no-panties look... rrr. Trim.

Fanny. I'm sorry, brits, but... no. Fanny is an cute colloquialism for butt. Little old grandmothers tell their giggling grandchildren that they must behave or they will have their fannies paddled, and it's an entirely innocent thing, and yes I know what you think it means and how twisted that makes it all seem but I'm an American and I just can't read it any other way. Fanny pack.

Right, I think that's enough for now. I could go on, obviously, I haven't mentioned 'slit' or 'box' or even gone near the uncountable amusing but rather contrived nicknames, but I've got three new kingdoms to get running and a harem to bang. And I like the harems. The harems that go bang.

Tabenings - Vorwarts Edition

Hello again!

So I was going to post about how I recently discovered the song 'Testify' by Davie, and have been grooving to it, but then I remembered how the youths are giving up Facebook and I realized that Oh My God I'm going full-on MySpace ("listening to") and yikes how old are you anyways lady! So I didn't. But then I did, didn't I?

It's not better than RATM's 'Testify', mind you, but then what is? I'm gonna veer away from the political ranting that follows onto that statement; that's not what you come here for, is it now.

Speaking of what you do come here for, I am gonna re-launch my Thursday night smut writing initiative. Some PoNA over on 4chins observed that I hadn't come out with a new story all last year other than CORE, and by God I think they're right, so I wanna buckle down and get 'Modding' finished and out into your hopefully sufficiently lubricated hands. Thus, I shall add words every Thursday - ideally, more often - with the idea that perhaps I can get it finished in March. Though I won't wait until March to begin! So watch for a, like, five word update on Thursdays. Hell, maybe just a number.

In other Tabiconic news, I've been enjoying the Netflix series 'Altered Carbon' quite a lot as I've binge-watched it this last week. Much more than I had anticipated to be honest. I read the novels a decade ago but have pretty much forgotten their plotlines and merely remembered the universe, which has worked out well. The show features lots of titties and general nudity - and at least one impressive schwantz - and bad guys getting shot up and Edgar Allen Poe and a general Blade Runner-esque dystopia, so frankly it's been awesome so far. Tabenings - Non-Smut Edition

So, nothing going on smut-wise this week. Guess I needed a break; also, I've been dieting, and that may be affecting my libido. Down twelve pounds though!

So let's talk about video games. I've mostly been playing modded Skyrim recently - I tried out the Helgen Reborn mod, and the Rigmor of Bruma mod, and the Bruma mod, and a bunch of other stuff that adds sexy clothes and things. No catgirls yet.

The mods have been okay, although it always surprises me how much effort people will put into these things - voice acting, new character models and objects and skins, not to mention the dungeons and quests, etc - and yet the writing always seems, well, not great. I mean the quests in stock Skyrim are no Grapes of Wrath, but I'd just think, I dunno, that fan-made stuff would be better. Maybe I'm just entitled, I dunno.

Actually what I've enjoyed the most recently is doing some of the base game stuff that I'd never done before, namely to collect all the dragon masks. There were a bunch of large-ish dungeons which I'd never delved! So that was fun. But, of course, I'm done now.

I also picked up Cities: Skylines, because it was $5 on a Steam sale, but I just couldn't get into it. It seemed more like work than like fun. Maybe I'll try again later.

Just today I'm noticing all the sudden buzz around Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which was released today. Or last night at midnight, whatever. It's a somewhat Skyrim-style game only set in a realistic Bohemia of 1402, so no magic and you have to eat stuff or you get weak and die. Although you don't get to design your protagonist - it's always the same guy - I am a huge history buff so a realistic medieval Bohemia might be right up my alley.

Reports are it's pretty buggy, though, so for my $60 I'm gonna wait until they've worked more of that out. Maybe in a month I'll give it a shot.

Tabenings - Oof edition

Hey hey! It's Tuesday!

Sure, I straight up missed a week, but... well, it's either get back on this thing or give it up. And don't think I haven't considered the latter! But once again my inexplicable persistence has risen, or lurched, or perhaps slunk, to the occasion, and here I am.

So! By this point you've all seen CORE #12, and by and large people appear to have enjoyed it, so that's good. I am pleased that you liked it.

It's weird that it's only been available for a week and a half; seems like the release date was in the distant past already. Media releases are so odd that way. So much anticipation, and then if one is fortunate a short intense burst of enjoyment, and then it's history, fading in the rear view mirror even before the garbage truck comes for the wrapper.

Nothing new and productive to report tonight. I'll try to get going on the next thing in a bit - I'm hoping doing some editorial work on 'Modding' will fire up the inspiration to finish it, that actually works for me fairly often - but for the moment it's break time. On the smut consumer front I've been enjoying Black Pharoah's 'Forsaken Souls' - did I mention that already? God I have a bad memory - and InCase released something recently that was both beautiful and frustratingly (for me) cock-centric. I'm also about ready to get back into one of Sierra Lee's games - I really enjoyed The Last Sovereign and it's had a bunch of updates since I last played, and her new Kingdom of Deception was fun when I tried the first release several months ago.

Tabenings - Donner Edition

Ah, Tuesday aga-

Well, I'll either fight my way back to Tuesday, or drop off entirely, we'll see. Wasn't a great week for me productivity-wise. It could have been - my spawn was staying with friends so I had all sorts of time this weekend. For a brief, shining moment, I saw my way clear to resuming work on 'Modding' and making real, tangible progress.

But then some stuff hit me and my self-confidence just cratered. Why bother, you know? So I didn't do that.

I did manage to get back on the horse enough this week to give the first, oh, half of CORE #12 the final, final, post-postwork edit. I.e. Uzobono has put the pages together and added the words and the special effects, and I'm just kibitzing for clarity and making small tweaks here and there. I think in 60 or so pages I had 5 comments? Something like that. Uzo is making noises about a release next week; seems feasible to me. So that's good.

Not a lot else to report; I've been enjoying Black Pharaoh's 'Forsaken Souls' smut comic. I do enjoy demonic corruption, although the parasite thingy got less screen time than I would have liked and reading a page a week is sometimes frustrating. Still, good evil fun.

Well, welcome to Thursday Tabenings, I guess. But I am still pleased to report that the final script edit has been sent to Uzobono and Uzo's already well into the postwork (special lighting effects, arranging the panels into pages, adding all the zillions of word balloons). Now I just provide whatever minimal final touch-up feedback as the pages come in, and then CORE #12 will be in your hot little hands! If you're the President, that is. For everyone else it will be in your hot normal-sized hands.

So! That's about it for now, I'm afraid. Although kivik is still updating at a furious pace and there's some hot stuff over there - since last week, even - so feel free to mosey along and check out this space again later.

Tabenings - 2018 Edition

Anyhow, it's, uh, Wednesday, so here's the Tabenings! To be honest it's actually still my intention to post each week on Tuesday, but yesterday I was doing final edits on CORE #12 and was on kind of a roll so that's what I did instead.

As long as I'm being honest, also the last two weeks sans posting weren't Google's fault, either. Although they could have been, fuckers. The holidays came with a triple helping of family issues, and I just wasn't mentally anywhere from which I wanted to post.

But I'm back in my own house and it's 2018, so back on track!

As I hinted at above, CORE #12 is breathing down your neck. Uzobono has finished all the renders and is doing the postwork and page stitching-together, and I am doing the final text edit. (After Uzo renders each panel, I review and revise the dialogue and sound effects, etc, to get the best match with the actual image.) Having it this month is extremely likely!

I've actually been ruminating on our delivery model. As you know by now, CORE issues are huge, well over a hundred pages. Compare this to similar offerings from Metrobay Comics or Mind Control Comix, which are ten to fifteen pages. I'm not denigrating them, mind you, they release more stuff and I like it, I'm just idly wondering if that model might actually be better. I mean, as I am reviewing CORE #12, I observe that many of the individual scenes are narratively complete and really hot - all one needs for a good shlick session - and frankly releasing fifteen scenes at once seems like it may be cheapening the experience as the reader races through them rather than savoring.

Hrm, I think I will posit that as one of the CORE Questionnaire questions this time. Shorter, more frequent issues? Or the phone books we currently deliver?

Also I want to ask which of the 1A - 4D mind control matrix types people prefer, but to understand that question you will have to read the issue.

Alright, time for some smut. Although the holidays sucked in many ways (and were nice in other ways, it wasn't all vicious drama) a girl does have needs and so I did round up some tasty new (well, new to me at any rate) genre porn.

I received a nice email from kivik (https://kivikmc.tumblr.com/) saying how much they liked my fiction and regretting that I had not updated my blog in over a year. To the latter part I could only say "bu-wha?" but I also said "Hey, neat, kivik is back!" And since I hadn't checked kivik's blog in, oh, about a year, I went on over there to have a look, and lo and behold they've been on a bit of an update tear recently. Huzzah!

Then, wanting more, I used one of my favorite tricks. Then, since those people obviously had good taste, I went to their tumblr pages to see what else they might have liked.

Always nice to know that people from back in the day are still around.
